Sadhanarama Foundation was established with a simple yet meaningful vision — to serve society through compassion, education, spiritual values, and community welfare inspired by the teachings of the Buddha.
Emerging from the spiritual environment of Sadhanarama Bana Vihara, the Foundation carries forward a tradition of service rooted in kindness, mindfulness, and ethical living. What began as a humble effort to support spiritual and community activities has gradually grown into a platform dedicated to cultural preservation, education, humanitarian service, and social development.
Registered as a charitable trust under the Indian Trust Act, 1882 with Registration No. IV-37/132/2019, Sadhanarama Foundation works to promote peace, harmony, and community well-being through various spiritual, educational, and welfare initiatives.
The Foundation believes that true progress is achieved when inner well-being and social responsibility grow together. Guided by this principle, it works to create positive change through spiritual programs, educational initiatives, community support, and activities that promote harmony and compassion.
Throughout the year, Sadhanarama Foundation organizes meditation programs, Dhamma teachings, novice training, religious ceremonies, cultural events, and welfare initiatives that bring people together in a spirit of unity and service. These activities not only preserve timeless traditions but also encourage younger generations to develop values of discipline, respect, gratitude, and mindfulness.
